It was not easy to find this on TMDB because other similarly named movies showed up in the search. The first video in that list, however, did not have the director William Black that you would expect for this title, nor the year 1991. It had no IMDB number assigned to it, so I have added that. It will take time for this to show up in searches but it should work soon.

This caused a "movie not found" error. Update 17th July: This has three seasons on IMDB but only had season 2 on TMDB and only one episode which was incorrectly labelled as season finale. The series was locked, stopping me from adding the other two seasons, but I managed to fix that. So, seasons 1, 2 and 3 are now there and I have added all 49 episodes to season 2.

I have been adding episodes since that error and today the error reported no episodes found for seasons 6, 7 and 8, whereas yesterday it was also seasons 2, 4 and 5 with no episodes. Okay, adding episodes in seasons 1 to 4 makes sense because that takes this series to mid 1957. The show came back in 1962 as the American Scene Magazine (1962–1966) (which is on TMDB) then back again (sometimes referred to as The Color Honeymooners) (1966–1970). IMDB does have a seperate 4 seasons entry for this and I believe these are the four seasons missing from the TMDB entry. I will see what I can do about adding the seasons 5 to 8 for the 1966-1970 era.

Update: 16th July 2026, I have added 40 episodes for season 4 because there were none listed. It seems to me that IMDB episode titles and descriptions often refer to the Honeymooners sketches that were regular parts of the show.
After season 4 IMDB gets very sketchy on details and does not even have episodes set to season 5 or 6 etc. Unless I can find another source for season and episode details for this show, I am not sure how much more I can do to add details to TMDB.

This Jackie Gleason series ran from the 1950s to 1970s. From the 9th Life errors I see that no episodes were found for seasons 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Looking at TMDB it seems that those episodes have not yet been added. I will see what I can do to add at least some episodes but that is more than just copying and pasting an episode IMDB number.

This worked fine for me when I checked it but it produced the following error for one user: 9th Life Alert: Series Error - Season 4 did not get valid API response for Series showID 6357. It seems TMDB had a temporary problem and in this case just did not give back a valid reply for season 3 and 4 of 5 seasons, thereby messing up the series download. I have updated the code so it will now make several attempts to get a valid response from TMDB for each season. I have seen this kind of error around once a month or so and hope the code update will prevent it from happening at all.

This was my own search and was coming back with an odd result which did not look right. I found the series was on TMDB but the IMDB numbers of the first season were assigned to a duplicate. I have learned a few things here - 1. the correct procedure to report a duplicate on TMDB, 2. TMDB might spend 6 or more weeks to remove a duplicate, 3. I can effectively fix the problem by removing the IMDB numbers from the duplicate and assigning them to the actual series.

This was listed on TMDB but the IMDB title number for this series was missing as were the numbers for the episodes. I have started updating all the IMDB title numbers for this.
Update on 15th June. I have finished adding all IMDB numbers to the 234 episodes. Somewhat tedious and repetitive work but not so bad on my laptop while watching TV. Three or four episodes had their IMDB number curiously already set to episodes on very obscure other series. I have removed those wrongly placed numbers and set the correct one for the obscure series, if it was on IMDB at all. Last episode 234 was not on TMDB, so I added it. One Episode on IMDB had an odd summary about fly fishing and a poster image to suit that. I have submitted updates to IMDB for that episode. Just goes to show that both TMDB and IMDB can have strange errors for some episodes.

Caligula is listed on TMDB, but not this cut. I noticed that someone on 19th May did add this to TMDB. I then started trying to help by adding as many details as I could. Next day, TMDB had removed this as a duplicate. My advice is to add the normal tt0080491 Caligula cut and change the runtime.
